  • dr. Richard Power

    interim Lead Pastor

    Dr. Richard Power has been the District Superintendent of the Hawaii Pacific District of the Church of the Nazarene since 2014.  Currently filling the role as Interim Lead Pastor, Pastor Rick brings many years of experience that include missionary work in China, the founding of a new Nazarene church in Texas, and serving as the Nazarene Youth International President on a global level.  

    Pastor Rick is married to Vicki and has two adult children, David and Rachel.

    Pastor Joy Lum Kee has served as the Children's Pastor at Windward Church of the Nazarene and Windward Nazarene Academy since 2004.  The Lord has blessed her with a loving husband, Kahele, and four awesome children: Kayla, Cody, Keahi, and Kimi. 

    Her desire as Children's Pastor is to see that all children will come to know our Lord as his/her personal Savior, come to a closer relationship with Him, and live their lives for Him.

    director of youth ministries

    Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii, Isaac moved to Oahu in 2010 and became a part of the Windward Nazarene family shortly thereafter.  Isaac is the K-5 P.E. and Computers teacher at Windward Nazarene Academy as well as the Maintenance McGuyver. 

    Isaac is a locally-licensed Nazarene Pastor that feels especially drawn to the youth age group.

    interim worship coordinator

    Leah is a classically trained and award-winning vocalist.  She has taught at Windward Nazarene Academy and is currently a graduate student in the music program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  

  • pomai ikeda

    administrative assistant

    Pomai has been connected to Windward Nazarene since 2010, when her twin sons, Kamaehu and Kaipo enrolled in preschool at Windward Nazarene Academy (WNA). Along with her youngest son, Ka'elo, Pomai can be found helping her husband Isaac with the church's youth ministry, as well as leading T.E.A.M., WNA's parent-teacher organization.
